Important Information About Account Deletion
Deleting your account permanently terminates your Grubbex profile, saved delivery addresses, active login sessions, and customer preferences. Once completed, this action cannot be undone. Eligible personal data will be completely wiped within 30 days.
How to Delete Your Account In-App
If you have the Grubbex mobile application installed on your Android or iOS device, the fastest way to delete your account is through the in-app security settings:
Open App
Launch the Grubbex App on your mobile device and log in to your account.
Go to Profile
Tap the Profile or Account icon located at the bottom right navigation bar.
Settings & Privacy
Navigate to 'Security & Privacy' or 'Account Settings' in the menu options.
Select Delete
Scroll down and tap 'Delete Account' to open the deletion confirmation panel.
Confirm Deletion
Review the permanent deletion warnings and confirm by tapping 'Delete My Account'.
Submit an Account Deletion Request
If you no longer have access to your mobile device, have uninstalled the Grubbex app, or prefer to request deletion via the web, submit the official form below. No login is required.
What Data Is Deleted & What Is Retained
Under Google Play’s user data policy, we clearly disclose what categories of data are permanently deleted and what data must be retained to comply with legal, regulatory, or tax obligations.
Erased Within 30 Days
The following personal information will be completely scrubbed from all active databases:
- ✕Account profile (first name, last name, profile image)
- ✕Contact information (email address, phone numbers)
- ✕Authentication credentials (password hashes, 2FA tokens)
- ✕Saved delivery addresses and home/work locations
- ✕Push notification tokens and device identification data
- ✕Saved shopping carts, order drafts, and wishlists
- ✕Marketing subscriptions, alerts, and customer preferences
Retained for Compliance Only
The following data is retained strictly as mandated by applicable statutory laws:
- ✓Financial transaction records and billing invoices (retained for up to 5-7 years to comply with statutory tax and accounting standards)
- ✓Chargeback resolution and dispute logs (to prevent financial fraud and settle merchant disputes)
- ✓Fraud prevention logs and system security audit traces (stored in hashed, non-reversible formats)
- ✓Regulatory communications regarding statutory compliance requests
Account Deletion Process Timeline
Day 0: Submission
Account is locked and marked for termination. Active sessions are invalidated.
Days 1–30: Verification & Purge
Our compliance systems verify no active orders exist and permanently erase personal records.
Day 30: Completion
Permanent deletion is finished. The account ceases to exist on the platform.
